Job Overview

The Paralegal is responsible for helping draft, review, negotiate, and provide general legal and administrative support across our companies. This includes drafting correspondence, researching novel issues, assisting with due diligence and document management, and maintaining databases across a wide variety of legal practice areas.

Core Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage multiple projects to ensure timely and accurate completion of business
    and legal affairs workflows.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of standard agreements and other legal documents
    as requested by attorneys.

  • Respond to legal inquiries as applicable, while raising and escalating legal issues, as

  • Act as the initial point of contact for certain internal teams and document procedures.

  • Prepare and format letters, memos, charts, tables, graphs, and other documents.

  • Edit and proofread all documents for spelling, grammar, layout, content, and context.

  • Assist company attorneys in a wide variety of legal practice areas.

  • Effectively schedule meetings, both internally and externally.

  • Help manage legal document workflow, including follow-up, execution, and distribution
    and filing of approved documents.

  • Responsible for sourcing, populating, updating, and maintaining legal documents in their
    internal trackers and databases at an accurate level.

  • As needed, review various regulatory and legislative developments in the U.S., UK, EU, Canada, and other jurisdictions as needed to summarize and escalate potential issues that could impact the businesses.

  • Help plan, design, and implement various internal procedures across the business.

  • Operate with a moderate level of supervision with no direct management responsibilities.

  • Other related duties, as assigned.



  • A track record of excelling with little supervision.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-stress, time sensitive environments.

  • The desire for a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • The ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Two to seven years in an administrative, support, paralegal, or law clerk role.

  • Associate’s degree, paralegal certificate, or comparable work experience.
